    Each category offers a set of questions each year. 

    The Impact of Social Media Misinformation on Adolescents' Cognitive Perceptions and Belief Systems

    Students are asked to write an essay (up to 1,500 words) to address the following four points:

    Discuss the Impact of Social Media Misinformation on Adolescents' Cognitive Perceptions and Belief Systems.

    • Analyze how exposure to misinformation affects the cognitive development of adolescents.

    • Explore how misinformation can alter adolescents' belief systems.

    • Discuss how these changes in belief systems might translate into real-world behaviors.

    • Discuss the role of social media platforms in combating misinformation.

    • Discuss why adolescents are a critical group when discussing the impacts of misinformation.
